Libya’s future and strategic significance – Jerusalem Studio 577

The civil conflict in Libya reached a hopeful milestone mid-January with a United Nations-sponsored agreement on a mechanism to hold elections 11 months from now in late December.
This is a complicated arrangement for an executive council, a presidential trio and a prime minister; as lists of candidates will be submitted by regions controlled by either the Turkish-supported Tripoli government or an Egyptian-backed Benghazi militia.

That’s what I was thinking too Dr Koren - that the problem in Libya is also a domestic one aggravated by ethnic and tribal tensions from within & without all vying for power & control. And as Jesus said “a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.” Nevertheless, your optimism is infectious!😊 And I hope one day, in my lifetime to witness it’s stability.

Hello to Israel. The situation in LIBYA is complicated because Russia and Turkey are cooperating. We see the same level of complexity in Syria, Armenia etc.
As the two analyst said the complications are too many to have a solution in LIBYA, the same can be said in Syria for similar reasons.
But there is one simple solution.
The only solution is to kick Turkey out of NATO and a deal between Russia and USA to helps the Kurds in IRAK and Syria.
Turkey would soon have nuclear weapons, does Russia wants Turkey to have nuclear weapons? Does USA wants this? No I can assure you so there is ground for a solution to be found.
The only country that wants Turkey to have nuclear weapons is Germany. If Russia and USA find common ground in the effort to stop Turkey going nuclear, then Israel can find a solution with Asad in Syria to kick IRAN out and in less than a month the problems would have gone bye bye.
