I love the tribute to Cy Twombly. That last layer of opaque white really enhanced the sense of depth that is so marked in such a 'quiet' print. It is like soft, vibrant music. Thank you.

You tamed the frightening red. Great edges and textures.
The Cy Twombly tribute is soft but not quiet.
A continuum of line is what gets some of us going in art.

Subtlety of your tribute is very appealing, draws the viewer in out of pure curiosity!

Very cool pieces! I always learn so much from your work: 1. Cy Twombly, new to me artist. 2. The layers/mixed media process you used here. 3. Design & composition insights. 4.The re-interpreting perspective. It's been difficult for me to not feel like I'm copying other artists works/ideas. Rather, be inspired by them. Thank you!

You know what you need to try?! Solid tempera paint sticks! Oh they are a complete joy on a gel plate! I have a whole large set of the Ooly brand of them called "Chunkies" and they are like butter to draw with! Kwik Stix is another awesome brand for them.
You can even add water to blend them, if you wish, or use them straight. They roll up out of containers in the shape of glue sticks. No mess and they have always successfully come up with each pull for me. Quick drying, too.
The results look like crayon and your mark-making self will love them!
I also have really cool water soluble wax chalk crayons called "Challk-o-Rama" that work on the gel plate from the brand Ooly, but they do keep their waxy texture once you pull the print, and I found that trying to seal them with varnish or decoupage with them is problematic, as the marks created a resist typical of wax. It is simply impossible to get anything to stick to them, so you would have to just use them at the finale.
(Not a sponsored comment! Just a fan of both of these art supplies with the gel plate, or without. I used to sell them at a children's toy store I worked at a few years ago.)
I can never comment without writing you a book, it seems! Sorry! 😆 Art makes me extremely loquacious.

Cy Twombly was a genius, and I very much like your tribute, onto which you fuse your own beautiful marks. Gorgeous. A question, if I may: why do you use acrylic paints instead of the slower-drying Golden Open inks? You surely have a good reason. Thank you in advance for your attention.

Always interesting results! Loving the metallic plastic collage pieces! Have you tried any of the very brilliant Pebeo Dyna color acrylics?

Lovely prints again! Does the Modge Podge leave any residual marks on the finished prints?

Love your work. Does the Mod Podge matte leave a slight shone to the surface?
