i think this worlds has shown the trust that the organisation/coaches have in these players, and the trust that the organisation have for each other. Up till the past LCK season, they seem to be hamstrung in many matches by being put on champs that they didn't like playing or couldn't show their best qualities out of caution.

this tournament has shown that T1 will beat you to a pulp in their way, fuck meta.

when was the last time you saw an LCK team this ruthless? 21 kills vs RNG in game 3, 30 kills against JDG in game 4.

every single one of these players can carry any game. I can't remember any team having the top 1/2 players in the world for each role, and after this tournament, nobody can deny that every single one of them deserves the accolades.

I remember when guma wasn't playing well, and all the NA "analysts" and "streamers" were saying they should've kept berzerker cos berzerker would've replaced him in the lineup. That's why NA never wins anything, cos their players are mentally weak, and the organisations don't understand learning through adversity. Guma wasn't playing badly, he just wasn't playing champions he was comfortable with. The org wanted/needed him to learn more champions, not so he can play them, but so he knows how to play against them. He was only a rookie last season, he had much to learn, and this worlds has reaped the rewards for him.
