All 21 passengers survive plane crash in Texas

All 21 passengers escaped safely after a plane bound for Boston crashed near Houston Executive Airport as it tried to take off. According to officials, the plane ran off the runway during the attempted take off.

Sgt. Stephen Woodard said two people were sent to hospital, but officials have said there were no serious injuries.

Tim Gibson with the Emergency Services District said while an investigation will take place, he was thankful for the result.

"Any time you have a plane that doesn't make a landing on a runway like it should, we're always expecting the worst but hoping for the best and today we absolutely positively got the best outcome we could hope for in this incidence," Gibson said.

Aerial video captured the extent of the crash, with multiple parts of the plane engulfed in flames as firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire.

If they never took off, where is the airstrip? If they never took off, why did Tim Gibson say “Any time you have a plane that doesn’t make a landing on a runway like it should” ???? Was it a take off or a landing? I have reread the description and I still can’t figure it out from this reporting 👎

usually I always hear that 1 or 2 passengers or crew members surviving a plane crash like that, but all 21??!...it's a miracle!!

I hope their were no pets in cargo area! When I flew with my Dachshund she road in her kennel by my feet, but some ride in storage and they usually can’t save them! Also they never talk about it either!

Somebody please tell me they set the flaps and slats for takeoff. In any case, the tail section looks to have survived, so the FDR and CVR should be OK.

My flat was right at the end of the runway just where that plane crashed here in Darwin. Starting to wonder how no planes have ever fallen on any of the homes! They shouldn't have built all these flats & houses so close to the runway. Drove me up the wall every time a plane either took off or landed at our end of the runway coz it shook all the walls & windows & u could never hear the TV or anyone on the phone! But least the rent was really cheap!
