The “Scientists on stage: Science slam” was the first in a series of webinars on Science Communication organized by the MCAA Communication workgroup. Recording of the webinar that took place on 24th September 2020.

Science slams are becoming a more and more popular format of science communication and outreach. In only 5-10 minutes, scientists have to explain their research to the general public using understandable, entertaining and concise language. Bringing your science closer to the non-scientific audience increases the impact of your research!
In this webinar, you will learn more about science slams, hear how and why you should do one, and get some tips from the science slam champions.
