I found myself in a sticky situation. When my 10 yr relationship ended I was real nice for awhile. She had just lost her dad and we were going through some relationship issues and broke up. It didn’t seem like it was going to be permanent at first and neither one of said that we were interested in anyone else. We have a kid together so he was kinda the focus at first and while she was grieving I didn’t want to be upset that we were broken up. However when I found out she was taking advantage of my niceness and seeing other people behind my back then all that niceness went out the window.
