I have the hp pavilion x360 i7 7th gen and a 940 mx nivida gpu, 8gb ram, runs good so far med-high setting

I was playing a very VERY old game "Medeivel Total War" and the laptop out of the box was crazy hot! The game kept crashing. I also played War Thunder on steam on minimum settings and same thing, laptop gets crazy hot on the bottom right side of the track pad. These are not high graphic games, especial MTW. Don't expect much of a gaming experience, unless you're sticking to minecraft or solitare. LOL. FYI: I returned the first laptop for being too hot, this was the second one and still gets hot. I even played low settings "Sudden Strike 2 (2002!!!)" and still I close the game down bc the laptop gets hot.

hi would u recommend i get this as a i5 at 13" or r5 at 15"? i would prefer 13" but ik ryzen is becoming better so do you think its worth just coping w a slightly larger laptop for the ryzen version?
