Anycubic EC UV Clear Plant based Resin | Are Plant based resins safe?

I reviewed the Anycubic photon mono 4K, maybe a year back? The resin I used earlier was by Anycubic and they are petroleum based. These resins stank up my house and my printer was out of commission for a few months due to that. Until I found out about these, plant-based EC UV resins. So how did this change my journey into resin 3d printing, watch on to find out!

The details on these printers are next level, and I like how the prints come out really clean and smooth.

I’ve been using Anycubic Ecoresin ever since I got my printer in late March 2020. It was about 50% more expensive then, but the price came down and within a year it was the same as standard resin (which had also reduced in price, though not by as much). I find their “compostable waste” claims slightly dubious, but the smell is certainly almost non existent. It is still highly toxic in liquid form and gives off fumes, even if you can’t smell them. I find it to be slightly more flexible than standard resin, so ideal for my wargaming models - if dropped, they are less likely to break!
