Hunting spiders definitely have some level of intelligence…even if it’s COMPLETELY different from our own. Like, why did he choose that precise moment to pounce? There’s definitely a “mind” at work, even though their brains/ganglia/nerves are organized so differently.

This warms my heart to see. Crane flies are among the nastiest little shits on the planet. Not only do they look creepy as hell, but they have tendency to fly right into your face for some reason.
