It is so important to emphasize, as you did, that shedding of RNA fragments does not equate infectivity.

I am concerned with this shedding. If my friend has had the first and second vaccine. Received the second vaccination a week ago. Can I get infected from my friend ? I know I shouldn't be able to. But I'm just trying to be sure I'm right. Also do people shed after vaccination? Am I correct in assuming they're not contagious ?
