CAD-1 Presents - Autodesk License Model Explained

Autodesk is phasing out perpetual licenses for individual products as of January 31, 2016, and the change for design and creation suites will take place July 31, 2016. As subscription offerings evolve, questions arise, and it is important that those questions are answered decisively.

Renshaw will be candidly discussing the difference between maintenance subscription and desktop subscription, giving the ins and outs of what to expect during this transition. Autodesk wants to reinforce its commitment to you, the customer, that Autodesk in partnership with CAD-1 will work with you during the transition to make it as smooth as possible.

Renshaw, who worked as an architect for 14 years, is Director of the North American VAR Channel, Building Solutions Division of Autodesk, based out of Atlanta. Over the past 15 years, her career has included roles as AEC Technical Specialist, AEC Territory Sales Executive, Sales Manager for AEC Eastern US, AEC Sales Director for Southeastern US and US VAR Channel Management. She was recognized in 2013 and 2014 by CRN as a member of the Power 100: Most Powerful Women of the Channel.
