I don't know how many times I've gone back to some of these to figure out how they're done. They're just little living reminders of how to do various bookbinding stitches and binds.

The way I learned all of these was I was required to complete a perfect book dummy and then take that bind and make an artist book. So, inherently, I always had to make 2 versions... so I just always do it that way now. It's a good way to give yourself an assignment; learn a bind then take that knowledge and try to do something pushing it with some artistic flair. Hi! Are you still reading? Cool. 🥪

I mostly make stuff with a nerdy slant but they range from bookbinding to custom collectibles to prop building. I actually have a lot of mashup / custom repaint and upcycle projects as well as Lego MOC and cosplay stuff.

I have a tiny maker space so mostly do table top style projects where I work with found objects, paper, cardboard, plastics, resin, wood and silicone. In the future I'd love to learn more about making my own vinyl figures and enamel lapel pins. My workshop is small but mighty!
