I followed my own instincts and I reached rank 41 with maxed out Awakened Benimaru, Rimuru (Slime form), Milim and Mira. Took me 4 days to accomplish this!

It was pointed out to me that the button is pink when a 5 star roll is guaranteed, and yellow after it's been used.

I'm not positive that's true, but I DID notice that the button is pink in some and yellow in others. I'd test it, but I'm saving every crystal to try for Mako when Kill La Kill comes back.

Forgot collect the items in the town you have chances to get lucky apples and flux drops which help alot with farming and crest

First off I agree somewhat on the "Never sell a 5 star because their awakened form might be near the best" but I only agree about the "awakened form might be near the best" part. But never selling a 5 star would be a big waste on alch, for all the new players reading this who don't know what alch is. It could be used to exchange for things or summoning units. Summoning units with alch has a pretty high chance of getting a good unit (but only if your spending alot) because if you use 5000 alch to summon a unit it guarantees a 5 star but that's not all. If you use 10, 000 you could get a guaranteed rare crossover unit, such as raphtalia or filo. Yeah, sure it's pricey but if U sell stuff U could get it especially if you're selling 5 stars. Normal units gives 50 5 stars give 500 but I would recommend gathering alot of 5 stars first then sell the bad ones with a bad awaken
