If they stop messing up other people's countries there would be less asylum seekers. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

A Sikh gentleman I knew once said, "they came to my country and took everything, now we can come here", when a rude bigoted customer came into the store and complained the Indian immigrants were taking jobs.

calling the mass invasion of illegal migrants "asylum seekers" is BS.

I dont blame UK but Ruwanda accepting such brutal laws to come into effect in Ruwanda. Very sad that Africa still helps its oppressors for the Problem created by the West.

The UK government raised concerns at the UN about allegations of "extrajudicial killings, deaths in custody, enforced disappearances and torture" in Rwanda, as well as restrictions to civil and political rights. but now they are sending people there.

They have rights to decide who stays in their country but then they should stop preaching human rights to others

Me as a Rwandan in UK, thinking 🤔 how to come back home free of charge.

WION really doesn't hold back their hatred of the UK.
Rwanda is receiving money for this. It will hopefully discourage people smugglers (who don't care about the lives of these people).

US should lecture them on human rights

Wishing that Ms. Patel might have got through this "fairer" system of migration. She might not have been a minister in first place!

i don't think we have to wonder why they would do this. they have been racist since the beginning of their colonization and views have not changed. maybe if they left ghadaffi alone there would still be a european border....just maybe. but they wanted his financial resources and now this is the sacrifice. priti patel may have an indian name but her mind is british.

Point of Information WION - Rwanda is not amongst the world poorest countries. The opposite is quite true actually. Rwanda has one of the fastest growing economies not only in Africa but in the world. Thank you.

Britain should be kicked out of the UN Human Rights council. 😊

Australia has similar measure: Since 2012, Nauru and Manus Island in Papua New Guinea are used for offshore processing of illegal immigrants. I guess the main message is, if people are coming illegally for better living conditions, they should look elsewhere.

150 Million given to Rwandan politicians to help asylum seekers? I bet maybe 50 cents goes to helping them. I'm not saying that there's corruption... no wait, that's what I'm saying

I fully agree with UK this time, Europe already has millions of Ukrainian refugees to take care of.

A 'migrant' is somebody who has been invited to 'migrate', like a visitor you invite to your home. Don't let the media confuse them with illegal (uninvited/unwanted) arrivals.
