I completely got rid of it from my large toenail. Every night I soaked my feet in almost hot water with 3/4 cup or so of vinegar. This softened the nails. I then scraped under the infected toenail as much as possible with a sharp metal dental tool. It didn't hurt. I would then put Vicks Vapor Rub into the area I had scraped out. It took several months of this same routine but worth it. This was years ago and it's never come back.

A 96 year old woman, very knowledgeable, gave me her family's homemade recipe for toe nail fungus...
-apple cider vinegar
-vick 's vapor rub
Soak a cotton ball in ACV and put a bandaid around it for as long as you can ...
Wash well with antibacterial soap, dry your toe nails...
Put a blob of Vicks vapor rub on top & underneath the infected nail, wrap with a bandage, place a white cotton sock on & sleep overnight....
Wake up next day, wash with antibacterial soap, do the ACV regiment and then the Vicks vapor rub at night....
Rinse & repeat....
Youll see a difference within 2 weeks that it IS working ....
I did this regiment for approx 3 months....
My nails are beautiful again!
Painless....
Not expensive either!👍

years ago, an NP at our dermatologist office, told my husband to mix up a solution of 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% ACV. Put it in a dropper bottle, shake, and put on affected nail twice a day. It was amazing! It took about 3-4 months of daily use but it completely cured his persistent toenail fungus!

I used tea tree oil and worked 100%! I had a fungus that made my toe nail black and hollow, almost 10 years ago. I used other products from drugstore proper to that, but it didn't work. One day I bought tea tree oil, cut my nail most I could, almost everything, cutting and filing the nail and I started to apply one drop of the oil. And my nail started to heal, grow clean and healthy. Up to this day I don't have anymore.

Whatever product you choose it's always a matter of patience and persistence. I spent a whole year applying an anti fungal serum EVERY DAY. Do not skip one day. Keep doing it and don't give up. Keep them clean, scrape the muck out from under the nail often, and moisturize. It took me a year, but I succeeded. Good luck everyone! 🦶🦶🦶

Very interesting. The one thing people also need to know is that oral anti-fungal prescription meds can cause serious problems and require episodic blood testing of liver enzymes.

I finally got rid of mine by adding castor oil to my routine. A combo of castor oil and tea tree oil every single day did it. Plus consistently filing down the nail. There's no quick fix but this worked over time.

I cured mine by alternating between a hydrogen peroxide soak and a rubbing alcohol soak. Did it every day for about a month. It killed the fungus, but it took almost a year for it to grow completely out. I will never get a pedicure again. Always at home.

Rubbing raw garlic is a great natural remedy as well to the list described! It's the one thing my partner has been able to consistently do because it's easy to save chopped pieces when we meal prep. My esthetician recommended it as well for strengthening my nails too. 😊

I had nail separation from my nail bed on a few fingers and Vicks made a world of difference. Highly recommend over Kerasol and the other more expensive OTC meds.

Tiger Balm worked for me! Twice a day on all nails (even those not infected, for prevention) for many months. Improvement was immediate but had to grow them out to cut off the damaged areas.

Oregano Oil . After trying almost everything, this made the magic 🎉. Applying daily after shower and directly to toe nail.

Sunlight works too, just keep your toes in the sunlight for a good 30 minutes a day.

I have had it for years and sought medical treatment. I got it from an unsanitary nail 💅 salon. I hate it! I am also a swimmer 🏊 and it's embarrassing. It's better than it was but thank you for this. I learn a lot from you. ❤😊

Soak the toes or nails in the baking soda with warm water, brush them with a small brush. I did that then no more funguses.

I have been wrapping my toes/feet in wool soaked in castor oil. It is good for the skin on my feet and seems to be working well. I put an old pair of socks over the wool and a pair of water proof socks. Castor oil is great for many skin issues.

Hear me out. I got it from getting pedicures from my local nail salon. I saw you can get it lasered as a remedy at a podiatrist. I figured my Remington laser hair removal machine at home may work and used it twice on my toe nails. It worked for me 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know why, how etc however yet now have just the last little bit of white to clip off probably in 2 weeks. It isn’t harmful for removing hair so why not zap the fungus was my thought and for me it worked.

I had it for a decade and tried everything. It’s under control now but I live in a very humid place and when it flares from wearing sneakers or closed toe shoes or even socks too long, it’s quite painful. I miss beautiful pedicures. Best luck to everyone dealing with this.
