Welcome to Guyana! Most people don’t know much about this South American country, or is it in the Caribbean?

Guyana has some of the best food I’ve ever had! Today, we’re heading to Moraikobai, an indigenous village deep inside the rainforest. We’re going to learn about their culture, and of course, we’re eating everything they got!

Breadfruit, quinches, cassava bread, barbecued chicken, piwari, even cassava bread pudding! I am also eating worms! Slimy yet satisfying. Let’s go to Moraikobai, Guyana!

So interesting seeing almost everything done manually... the making of the cassava bread ...cassareep know if I could eat worms ...maybe if I really really had to....but I admire the people and their skills in their everyday lives ... Hey David. Watching right now. Enjoying this series as I’m learning about my own country. Don’t care for cassava. You are brave. No way I’m trying the worm 🐛 raw, BBQ‘Ed, fried. Appreciate your always respectful and transparent reviews. Don’ts these waters have crocodiles or gators ? Used to see them walking towards the ocean at my grandmothers house.
