Yeah BUT you are forgetting that you also need to take into account the wear and tare on uour vehicle. Thats use of oil, tires, maintenance, Vehicle value loss by mileage, insurance and license fees. I mean it's not as easy as just saying hey it just costs gas to get from A to B . If you just use the fuel price you're gonna end up in the hole when shit breaks. So youre most certainly don't make a profit, you arent even braking even.

This is not accurate. based on google your truck can get 10 /gallon a mile at ultimate optimal performance but with a 40lb load and not in perfect maintenance / tire pressure and other factors you can find yourself more at 3 miles per gallon. the difference between 10 and 3 will make a drastic difference in your calculations. Your best bet is to pull your fuel statement and calculate how many miles you drove / how much you spent in gas for more accurate numbers. This probably why yall accepting low ball offers and not making a profit.
