I wonder why people who commit senseless murders are not put down? Like keeping them around for what?

It’s disgusting that she lost her life like that. Disgusting that the family suffered her loss. Death penalty for violent murderers.

I know I'm over-generalizing, but it just feels like the criminals get way more protection than the victims. All this guy has to do is plead insanity and act crazy and he'll get off. Had the victim defended herself in some way found to violate the law or the guy's civil rights, she'd be the one going to jail. Heck, we pay taxes to have police service, but we are the ones going to jail if we don't pay up. The world is upside down and ass-backwards.

We need death penalty and tough laws to protect our innocent

My friend got stabbed 15 times in nyc, almost died. The aggressor was found guilty and only spent 1.5 years in jail, and when she was released, my friend was never told or had any say in it

This is the new normal in the USA... Crime goes unpunished.

My condolences to the family of the victim. It's very terrible that we have to coexist with terrible beings within this world.

How is he pleaded not guilty to this murder? There is seriously something wrong with the justice system. And it’s always the same people who commit these crimes

When people keep saying that homeless individuals are harmless, when i know damn well any homeless stranger has the potential to harm me or take my life! I don't care what nobody says, i will keep my guard up, i don't care who you are outside in these streets.

Over an hour to go in her apartment to help is no help at all. That's ashamed 😕 for sure. My heart goes out to her and her family.

The police officers that responded to the initial call needs to be held accountable. What was their thought process for leaving the scene even after hearing her scream for help!? Also, homeless guy needs death penalty even if he's crazy!

They need to sue the mayor, the DA, and the governor for allowing people like this back on the street, not the cops!
