Correct me if I am wrong:

(~640.000 deaths / 16, 000, 000 reported cases) x 100 = 4.0% mortality rate

Given that the authorities acknowledge that the case number is underestimated, then this would mean that the MR would be lower still.

Also, as the symptoms of C-19 are essentially the same as Influenza, and given that there are countries reporting deaths as C-19 based solely on symptoms, how many of the approx. 640, 000 deaths were actually due to the flu?
