I purchased these shears and I'm adjusting to the offset handle slowly. I also currently use another shear with offset handles, but not like these. Also, I'm feeling like when I'm cutting hair there is a "crunchy" feel when I'm cutting as opposed to the shear feeling like it's gliding smoothly. I'm guessing I may need to adjust the tension, but I don't want to mess up my shear. I just purchased them and, due to the cost, I don't want to compromise the shear in any way. Will you please give me some suggestions as to what I can do to improve this issue? Thanks!

The leather that comes with the scissor needs to be made optional, i will not support animal cruelty and I'm sure many people are on the same boat, for this reason alone, I will not consider getting these
