I love this painting! If I saw it with no context, I'd probably think the theme is less about self-consciousness, and more saying that external beauty doesn't necessarily mimic "internal beauty, " with the ugly pigeon looking beautiful in the reflection and the opposite for the beautiful birds

Composite Word challenges are always fun for creating illustrations and concept in general. A great way to come up with several fun topics, especially when you're short on what you want to paint or draw.
