Definitely a success story. People always talk about Williams but it was incredible for Sauber to not become one of the dozens of flops among the new 90s teams. Also saw the potential of a Red Bull partnership early

Sauber and Jordan both showed in the '90s how to start up a successful F1 team when newcomers like Simtek or Forti and established names like Lotus and Brabham didn't survive.

Many F1 fans always relate F1 with the names like Ferrari, mclaren and Williams. Sauber always becomes the after thought because their existence in F1 aren't as sparkling as those 3 teams, but no one should deny Sauber contribution to the sport as has been said in this video. Without them, there will be no drivers like Kimi, Heidfeld, kubica, frentzen, etc in which every F1 fan knows and loves.
May the name 'sauber' never perish from this sport and their legacy will continue for years to come.

I've developed a soft spot Sauber, they are the survivors and a huge inspiration in motor racing and I hope to see them in motorsport for many many years to come, I would have loved to see them make it bigger with Alfa Romeo, but hopefully they do better with Audi. I can tell that Sauber is a very warm, loving supporting family of people and professionals... They are definitely a family and not just a team.
