Asterisk Tutorial 33 - Asterisk IVR Menu Looping [english]

preview_player
Показать описание
It's time to enhance our IVRs to account for "timeouts" by looping our IVR menus.

Menu loops allow the IVR menu to be repeated should an option not be selected within a specific time frame, giving the caller the opportunity to make their selection.

Hey Guys,
been watching you for a while now and have to say love your tutorials. (even to find sleep at night, no pun intended ;-) )

So far i managed to follow all of your steps but i stumbled on something.

Could you cover the issue of call transfers in on of your next videos perhaps in context with a hardware phone e.g. snom?
i can't get the call transfer working properly.

keep on the good work

Hi guys,
Thank you so much for these episodes on how to do literally anything with Asterisk. I am new to all this and i would like to know how i can configure extensions for users to call within their number range and not any other range. for example, if i have a 1000 series, it should only be able to call 1000 - 1999. currently using Asterisk 13 installed on Linode and running CentOS 7. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Forgot the closing parenthesis after increment "LOOP".

P.S.: I know, it's too late, but I had to say it :)
