Uganda reports 4,000 new HIV infections in children

Uganda registered 4,000 new HIV infections among children, mainly through mother-to-child transmission. While this is a reduction from 25,000 cases in 2010 due to various interventions, the Ministry of Health says the figure remains high and more needs to be done.
