University of Oslo honorary doctor lecture by Dr Richard J. Hatchett.

Dr Hatchett, Director of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), has through extraordinary strategic and scientific leadership at CEPI, enhanced global capacity to handle several existing infectious diseases and increased preparedness to prevent the development of a potential new pandemic, disease X.
In his lecture he presents CEPI’s first Biosecurity Strategy. The strategy seeks to enhance global health security and pandemic preparedness through responsible and equitable research and development.
