Favorite tracks: King Vamp, Place, Sky, Feel Like Dyin, New Neon...these are some of the best tracks Carti has ever made. Especially the closing track is probably top 5 Carti songs for me.

Least favorite tracks: First 5 tracks were mostly butt, new tank, Meh, Teen X, Punk Monk

as a mix engineer, the mixing on this album is absolute fire. Really pushes the aesthetic and sounds super aggressive when it needs to be.

I appreciate this album, there are a lot of flaws, but I like how Carti isn't afraid to take risks and embrace a direction. As compared to someone like Uzi, who hyped up Eternal Atake as some galactic/psychadelic experience, and just came out with the same trap songs he always does.

according to a carti affiliate, he made most of these songs last month, many of the producers, one of them being richie souf expressed frustration, because richie had 12 songs with carti which did not drop because of the label changing stuff last minute. hes having trouble with interscope, but whats new, interscope is one of the worst labels to sign to based on how many artists have complained and tried to get out of their contracts. i personally liked the album, i believe it was creative and you will definitely hear multiple soundcloud artists changing their sounds.

I really like the album. When I first listened to it, I thought it was too long and there were only a few good songs. Now after my fourth listen, I can appreciate how different and purposely stand out it is. I enjoy the more rager feel. I think they should adjust the mixes a little bit on streaming services, but still keep the raw feel. Carti is at his most vulnerable and I like that. He didn't try to make another Die Lit. 7/10 for me as of now. Cant wait for the deluxe.

I think it's bold, experimental, and just different from other people expect from Carti. People came into this thinking this album was going to be another album with some ethereal, vibin songs like leaked singles "Pissy Pamper" and "Molly". Much more a mix of hard rock / trap with his own authentic style attached to it. I really liked how this didn't have that many features and alot was him actually expressing hard s**t, like how his brother died, beef with his ex Iggy, and how he feels on that relationship, his new kid, and his rockstar attitude and lifestyle. It's clear he want's to bring as much of a message or expression as he does bring a vibe with this album, it was completely unexpected and a whole different side of Carti that I haven't heard before.

The more I listen to this album, the more I like it, which is why I encourage others to look at it from an open lens, bc it's totally different from what Carti or any current trend is doing in the industry. Also, don't listen straight from your phone or laptop bc it'll sound like ass, this was made to be loud. New N3on, Over, Sky, Rockstar Made, Go2DaMoon all slap

This album, or rather, the hype for this album and then the arrival of this album, were what have kept me alive for the past two years. I haven't seen this kind of hype since waiting for Astroworld, and before that, Bon Iver's 22, A Million. It's pretty pathetic that that was the binding factor for me in this world, but I needed to be able to find the next musical equivalent of a dangerous minimalist punk painting, that evoked the same bombastic energy of Black Flag, The Damned or The Misfits. Bless this album. Bless Volksgeist for granting the general public a new angle of perspective. Thank god I'm not alone in loving this album.
