Carti changed the game, he'll be seen as influential as Future and Thugger in 5 years time. WakeUpFilthy really created a whole new kinda genre with those beats like Stop Breathing and On That Time. There'd be no Yeat without this album

I think the 808 heartbreak comparison is so accurate, flawed record but the highs are so high and the lows still have so much potential that one can build upon, I can name a whole list of rappers popping that are coming up off this type of blueprint carti laid out with “Whole Lotta Red” personally im a huge fan of this album, partly because it’s so experimental and different.
