Kitting out my workshop with stuff I bought from TEMU!

Join me this week as I unbox and take a look at all the cheap equipment I ordered from TEMU to help make life in my workshop easier and more organised, but was any of it actually worth the price I paid?

The one thing I would recommend you get is a kneeling mat to save your knees from the concrete floor, after 32 years in the workshop I wish I had year's ago.

i've bought loads of stuff off Temu, and been well happy with more or less everything. two weeks ago i got a botslab 5mp pan/tilt/zoom wifi cctv camera for £13.95, less than half the price of the identical unit on amazon or ebay. If you check in detail you realise that so many things elsewhere are the same items, so why pay double and sometimes much more. Temu are great for little bits you maybe need one or two of but dont want to spend loads & probably wouldn't bother with. I like having a real good shop around when a bit bored and spend the minimum £15 with free delivery, im deffo a fan, but id say go in with your eyes open and as sam attested to, check the sizes !!. I have bought a few things via Temu and found them to be good value and normally better than expected for the price, some has just been plain good stuff, check the reviews and price as often the same thing is for sale by several sellers and go for it if the price and reviews are good

Just a little tip: if you notice, you are looking away from your viewers. When filming, don't look at
yourself, instead look at the lens of your phone or camera - it will be more engaging for your audience
if your are looking directly AT them. All the top vloggers on YouTube use this trick.

I bought a similar cheap wrench, has took some knocks and still running. As a bonus the charger fits one of my old work lights. Most of the time I never remember to get it out.

Nice 1 fella. I buy quite a bit from Temu, but you’ve got to still research the items to get the best bargains. They do sell a lot of crap but all in all I’ve been really happy buying from them.

Most valuable thing ive ever bought is a halfords socket set, it came with long sockets couple of spark plug ones and a small precision screwdriver set, came with t type handle small and large and ratchets small and large, the case is falling apart but nothing is broken or missing, i had plenty of cheap set before and destroyed every ratchet, this one was whatever one they had a lifetime warrenty on this was over 20 years ago now, it was on an easter sale think they stopped making it after i got mine and they have similar but they are alot more expensive now, basically it was £80 half price so £40 my grandad got me a £20 halfords voucher for my birthday so it actually cost me £20 i have tonnes of tools now and that socket set is my go to everytime i reckon something similar now would be £120-£160 but id pay that in a heart beat the halfords socket set are in my opinion semi pro, probably wont last everyday professional but more than enough for most jobs and mine has never broken well worth it especially if you got the lifetime warranty you break it they replace it!

Bought a stick welder from Temu to make bike silhouette from bike chain. Wicked bit of kit for pennies on the pound. I'm ex Associated weavers guy. All them cpts in background brings back memories of why my spine is now fked i don't ride my xl125r from 1985. She'll get hurt and def so will i lol.. All the best fella....

Paid £31 for exactly the same electric ratchet on Ebay. For the occasional use as an amateur hobby mechanic very happy with it. No need to pay more.
