The top piece of metal/flashing is applied to plywood then taped with a flashing tape . Not to house wrap . Water goes down house wrap behind metal . Water intrusion happens next .

If you put the screws in the top of the flute, it won’t let water in thru the hole in the pan

Why no underlayment to prevent moisture from rotting wood? I guess since its a barn then over hanging the panels instead of turning them over some dripedge is fine

Always fold up pans at wall and always fold down pans at end water falls off stops wind blowing water up and stops water from tracking back at end, easy to do they have the same tool for both ends works perfectly and extends life of materials

Never had very good luck with the DeWALT roofing nailer. Love the rest of their lineup though.

I think that's gonna leak- better put even MORE water proofing and sealant. 😆 kidding- seriously well done. This shop is gonna be a beauty for at least a century!

He’s very sunburnt.
Also put gasket material farther up inside flashing, it doesn’t do well exposed to elements.

Not trying to be that guy but good luck with the foam under the wall flashing lasting a long time while being exposed to UV rays. Idk, ill just go with Ice Guard, asphalt shigles and a flashing which is tight to the roof deck but also fastened behind the siding as well.

There's almost an inch of wood exposed on the end the camera was at.

It's funny how many people think you are supposed to install the wood screws through the ribs on this profile of roofing metal. That's a great way to instantly void the warranty on that "30-year warrantied" roof.

Wood screws in the flat next to the rib and shorter "lap screws" through the overlapping ribs and for the ridge cap and flashing.

That left side looks exposed since the metal roof didn’t cover it? Or did I not see it correctly?

I love the way the tools sound as the man is working. ASMR relaxing...I could watch for hours ❤

Yeah no underlayment or even a water and ice. Also most manufacturers want screws on top of the ribbed sections. Other than that it's not bad
