We all get to a point when doing homework when we get stuck on a problem. When should you ask for help? In this video I talk about when i think the right time is to throw in the towel.

That was wisdom right there
Great words!
As someone who is doing first year of engineering and taking physics one, I can't thank you enough for reminding me those important elements!

Keep up the great and sincere work you've been doing and I wish you the best!

From Angola BTW!

Understanding the problem is half of the solution.
Great video as always.

Some advice you gave about letting problems stew was great. Now I can solve all my toughest math problems by giving it a day and breaking it down to what I know and don't know

I think i speak for many people, but Thank you for this. I'll absolutely keep this in mind and apply it. Btw I'm the type that gets stubborn and fixate upon arriving to the solution on my own. But...i recognize when I must give in and ask for help

Excellent advice! It can also be very helpful to have experience with coding and especially debugging programs, because you have to really examine the logic steps, what might have gone wrong and how you could check that.

Great advice man, I’ll be sure to catch all your vids throughout my physics journey.

Thank you! I needed this. I had a physics exam (high school ofc) today and did not do so well. My problem is keep everything for last minute otherwise I understand things. When I don't understand, I am hesitant to ask because I feel like my question is silly. Nvm my old self. Now I'll be asking questions whenever necessary.

This is an excellent and a very helpful video. This is one of the best videos of Andrew. This is really helpful for any physics student. This video gives a very good understanding of or insight into a life a successful physics student. This video speaks about a very important rule or a quality that a physics student should have i.e, how to handle when one is stuck with a problem. I recommend this video for all physics students.

Half an hour..

I can get stuck for 3 hours on kinda simple.things

After reading those comments I'm asking myself whether I'm the only person who asks questions right after about 5 minuntes._. I think this is even worse than not asking for too long... And also I realised that I probably am the worst nightmare of a tutor, so thank you so much for that video, I really try to improve myself

Thank you for making this video! I can totally relate...
EDIT: I'm the kind that waits until the semester is over to ask a question... JK LOL
No, but I surely ask questions later than I should.
