Kessler Crane - Pocket Dolly v2.0 Demo Video

I bought the Kessler Crane Pocket Dolly v2.0 and just made this video as a quick demonstration. The only problem I had it with it is that the two scrolls from the elektraDRIVE BUNDLE PACKAGE with BASIC Controller v2.0 are too big. It blocks the turning wheel. I solved it by replacing the Kessler supplied scrolls with two 1/4 x 12 scrolls ($3.15) that I bought from home depot.

The noise is a lot louder then I expected, so if you want to shoot anything consider the noise from the motor. Everything about the product is fine. Is very solid and it does exactly what you expect it to.

The only other problem that I had is that on the Kessler Crane website, they said to expect an order to be processed in 10 to 14 business days. I needed this slider in a rush, so I paid for the UPS World Wide Expediate Shipping, an extra $150 fee. Little do I know, Kessler Crane processed my order in the very next day. So I basically wasted $150. SO if you are ordering from Kessler Crane, considering your shipping options carefully as they do cost a lot of money.

This is what I bought from Kessler Crane
-Pocket Dolly v2.0
-Pocket Dolly™ V2 Brake
-Giottos MH621 Quick Release Plate & Receiver
-Hard Travel Case for Pocket Dolly & CineSlider
-elektraDRIVE BUNDLE PACKAGE with BASIC Controller v2.0

This video was shot with Canon 7D

Thanks for uploading this... OMG is the thing THAT noisy?? No wonder people's dolly videos have to have a bunch of music stuck over it.
