Is there any song that Jim Reeves recorded that is not a real gem? I don't think so. Over the years I have listened to him sing song. after song, after song and in his own special way he had a way of bringing so much more to them than the beauty of the lyrics and the melody. "Just out of Reach" is such an example. Ironically, since purchasing my first Jim Reeves album "According to My Heart" back around 1960 and many more since that time and listening to him sing countless other songs over the years, can you believe this is the first time I can recall listening to Jim sing this rendition. Needless to say, it is terrific. Thanks so much for sharing it. Jim Reeves, an artist whom people everywhere never tire of listening!

Jim had a wonderful smooth melodic voice, badly missed, music today is garbage, poor songs with rubbish lyrics, I’m glad I’m old.
