You might’ve been injury prone but were you known in the ER by first name levels of injury prone?
I’m still strangely proud of that

The knee scar- Its giving me FLASHBACKS- *Proceeds to remember every bit of pain during the summer when I was 10 where I SHAVED OFF my kneecaps*

I wasn’t as injury prone as just being an outright menace to society. I feel so bad for my Aunt because when I was little, I hated her for no reason, and one day we were eating in a restaurant me, mom, dad, Nana (Grandmother), my older siblings, and my Aunt. That day I dumped mac and cheese, napkins, milk, and anything I could get my tiny hands on in her purse and she only found out when she put in her hand to find her keys, which was covered in milk and bologna. I was like 1 or 2 years old, I only know this story because my mom told me.

I still get random scraps, scratches, and bruises to this very day. And some, I can't even remember how I got.

I actually did pretty good avoiding injuries in my childhood, and have suffered no damage that couldn't heal in about a week. I did however still get injured, and when I did it was always something stupid. My favorite story is when I was walking our neighbor's dog and I walked straight into a metal pole. I looked behind me to see if the dog was okay, decided she was, and walked straight into the pole again. The worst injury I've ever gotten was a minor concussion from falling off of a bounce house slide at someone's wedding. I was fine after a day or two.

I injured my knee once riding a dollie down my grandparents' driveway. The front wheel lodged itself in a crack in the pavement and sent me hurdling off it, landing on my hands and knees. Needless to say, I was a teary, boogery mess

Dude it’s not even scars anymore. My entire knee is covered in bumps. Just little bumps. I CAN’T WEAR SHORTS ANYMORE!

An oft recalled incident in my family was my sister being with my parents in a totally empty warehouse. There was 1 pillar in the entire warehouse, and pretty much nothing else. She was playing, as per usual, running about, when my father shouted "(Sister), STOP!" She stopped mere centimeters from the only pillar.

The man showing them around asked how he knew that was going to happen, and my father just shrugged and told him it was the only thing she COULD run into

You're right... Everyone has that one scar on their knee... Mine from the time in year two and my class was at the local library and I fell down the stairs on the way back to school, the books I was carrying seemingly heavier than I was.... And my sister who ran down a hill, tripped on a rock, and landed on another rock... That scar reaches across her entire knee... I saw a picture of the original wound and it was literally traumatizing....

If you don't have scar on your knee from childhood, you didn't have a childhood.
