Hi Engine Girl - I am using PP syn HM in a few cars. I do have one concern -
Why do your PP syn high mileage oils have such low viscosity compared to competition. I'm comparing 5w20:
PP HM: 43.7/8
Mobil 1HM: 50.1/8.6
Valvoline Full Synth HM: 48.9/8.6
Motorcraft Semi Syn: 50/8.7

Is there more than meets the eye? Is it an apples to oranges comparison? Seems there would be less protection...

Engine Girl, What do you suggest for a high mileage Ford 4.6L engine. Manual says 5w30, of course Ford changed to 5w20. Would synthetic be better? There is slight oil loss, about 1 qt every 2500.
