No need to turn off real time protection. You can just add the game to exclusion list.

Don't do this, just make an exclusion for the folder of the game you want to play:

In windows defender go to
-Virus Threat Protection settings then
-manage settings then
-scroll down then
-make an exclusion for the folder of the game and
DONE

this way your pc will have windows security ON and will not be vulnerable.
