I love Ollie's 'excuse' to go find Josh in Paris 😄

Watching a 13 minute video about two best friends eating pastries on a bench is surprisingly my kind of content

The way Josh's face lights up the moment he sees Ollie and the way he never stopped smiling around him the whole vid is seriously sooo wholesome. 02:38 and this moment basically sums up how they both function on one single brain cell. Lmaoo

Ollie nearly killed me when he said "Is romance already dead?" and "the French thing". Also am I the only noticing that Ollie keeps on getting the bigger piece when Josh off rips his share of the croissants?

Ok so the french thing is actually a kouign-amann, it is a pastry with a lot of butter from bretagne, a region known for its butter with salt.

the "french thing" looks like Kouign Amann for me ; a breton cake, absolutely delicious

The dichotomy between these two whilst being inseparable best friends is what makes these videos. Love these two like family.

Ollie's petulant "Why not?!" when Josh refused to lady-and-the-tramp it a second time is a personality type in itself

“What was he (Josh) doing while Gabie was alone in Paris […] So I headed over to keep him company” Truly first wife energy here 😂

I'm Parisian and I'm just grateful you made me discover the "French Bastards" bakerys compagny. The pastries look very trendy but they taste super good and they are not overpriced. The salty caramel caramel was a nice discovery, thanks guys !!

I have been living in France for the last 5 years and the fact that even the cheap croissants from the uni cafeteria are a 100 times better than the best in my home country still astonishes me

I must do a precision for all here, the " French Thing " is called a Kouign-Amann " (pronounced Kween-a-man ) which is actually a traditional butter cake from Brittany ( the tip of France ). It's the most butteriest, richest patisserie in france, and it does tastes as amazing as Josh and Ollie make it look like.

that transition at 00:06 was so smooth. Had to replay it a couple times to fully appreciate it!

i remember this, i was following gabie's channel where she was studying chocolate in paris alone at a culinary school, josh decided to visit her, what she thought was gonna be romantic turns into a jolly video cause ollie showed up too.

Ollie is such a mood! I love how he casually came to Paris just to keep Josh company haha

This is lovely. Too many times I hear people saying French cuisine is overrated without them having ever tasted anything authentically French. But dammit, as a French living abroad, do I miss my local boulangerie and its tasty French pastries.

That UFP (Unidentified French Pastry) is probably a Kouign Aman. Never had one, the only reason I know of it is by watching Yakitate Japan, the manga/anime which has a huge fascination with French Baking among others of course and is a must read for bread lovers :D This pastry is mentioned as being even more crispy than a croissant, so thats why I made the link
