Timbren SES (Suspension Enhancement System) - Loaded vs. Unloaded

This video shows what a Timbren Suspension Enhancement System is doing when the truck is unloaded and then again when it is loaded.

Notice that when the truck isn't hauling or towing anything the Timbren kit sits of the axle about an inch. This is to ensure that your truck maintains its unloaded ride quality.

Once you put something in the bed of the truck or hook up a loaded trailer the truck will engage with the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System and they will keep the truck from sagging and squatting and prevent any vehicle and trailer roll and sway.

These are not typical bump stops. These are progressive rubber springs, meaning that the more weight you put on these the more these will push back to keep your truck sitting level.

Bought a set for the rear of my new Ram Classic because my hitch and spring bars are at home 1200km away and needed to tow trailer back home. Whilst there was 1/2 an inch clearance when the trailer was connected I felt them working on the road to reduce travel/bounce and help in cornering.
They will stay installed forever even when the other hitch is used.

Follow the instructions. Use dish soap to lube and once installed, I rotated them a quarter turn to make sure they were seated properly

I have the DR2500CA on my 03 Dodge Ram. And so far I really like them. They really seem to help. I tow as light as 3, 000 pounds to 22, 000 and so far the timbrens do pretty good for me. I had 4, 980 pounds of 57 lime stone in my bed . The back was pushed down but now near as bad as it would have been with out the Timbrens.
