RX-8 Start Up Noise

Previous owner is assuming it’s coming from the drivers belt, but any suggestions?

Car drives, idles, and hot starts just fine it’s just this start up.

Heard the ignition system isn't the best on the rx8, try the usual "tune up" stuff, coil, spark plugs, leads, throttle clean and maf clean WITH MAF SPECIFIC CLEANER. And for throttle clean us Subaru upper engine clean, best stuff there is but very harsh on the nose, nulon professional carb and throttle clean also works pretty well and doesn't set fire to your nose hairs.

i have an rx8 and mines starts WAYYY faster and it’s hella loud but neither of those parts are stock lol

let the injectors turn on before cracking then see if the sound goes away

What kinda RX-8 is that? I've never seen a steering wheel like that in a RX-8.
