It hits too close to home when you remember this was coincidentally released at the same time Scott was being attacked and threatened, followed by his retirement. Those kinds of people, I don’t think deserve to be forgiven for what they have done. People have forgotten that intentions matter.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is, Scott’s intentions were not malice, but those Twitter users intentions were. Now, when you look at it from that perspective, who are the real monsters? I will miss Scott and everything he has done for the community, as well as everything he has done for the LGBTQ+ community.

Even if people from said community don’t like him anymore. Goes to show what fools they really are if they’re too blinded by outrage to give any kind of reasonable response. (That being aimed at the ones who believe Scott deserved it or actively threatened him or his family.)

We are all human, we all make mistakes. But what happened on that day, was far more than a tragedy.
