Always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question
Birds have the gift of flight, the freedom to soar across
endless skies, yet many of them remain in the same
place. They wake up to the same sun, sing the same
songs, and nest in the same trees. Is it comfort? Fear?
Or simply the pull of familiarity?
Then I ask myself the same question.
Life offers infinite possibilities, yet I find myself
walking the same roads, thinking the same thoughts,
living within invisible walls. Is it because I'm truly
happy where I am? Or am I just afraid of the unknown?
Change is daunting. It asks us to leave behind the
warmth of the familiar and step into uncertainty. But
isn't that where growth happens? Birds that migrate
discover new lands, new skies, new opportunities. And
those that stay behind? Maybe they've already found
what they were looking for.
Perhaps the real question isn't why birds stay but
whether they stay by choice or by fear. If it's a choice,
it's peace. If it's fear, it's a cage.
So, I ask myself again: Am I truly where I want to be, or am I simply too afraid to leave? The answer isn't easy, but maybe it's time to spread my wings and find out.
