Speaking as one, guitarists are the wierdest birds in the music community. We obsess about tone and gear to the point that it becomes farcical. And, at the end of the day, we are always told to turn down anyway LOL.

Saying you spent a quarter of a million dollars on this thing is much more of a self roast than a flex

It sounds like a legendary amplifier, among many other legendary ones, that’s also been viciously hyped beyond anything that could be considered recognizable logic. I blame the consumers, not the amp or its late maker.

Sounds great. I want to see a blindfold test with this and some regularly affordable amps. Based on the comments here, you should include a Katana!

The Dumble circuit has pleasing frequency choices, I wish more amp builders would realize this.

Sounds like my Boss Katana.
Which didn’t cost a quarter of a million dollars.

Sounds like a twin reverb with a headcold.

To all the people commenting " ohh man it's not EvEn WoRth $250k". Obviously Dumbles were not $250k retail price They are simply that much because they are incredibly rare now and have been played by many famous guitarists. He didn't charge $250, 000 to build you one. Anything rare that has been owned by famous people is expensive. It's a piece of history, just like a 1959 les paul will cost you up to $500, 000. They didn't cost that to buy new. This should be obvious but I don't think it is to many of you lol

The Stevie Ray Vaughan effect: Guitar players will bend heaven and earth just to try and get their hands on the same gear as him

It's too bad that many of these commenters have expressed themselves so negatively. You just shared with us. A very rare piece of history that most of us will never be able to afford. They don't get it. They think that you're just showing off. An expensive thing like a spoiled brat or something. And all of the videos that I have watched and tried to learn from you, sir. I have never detected snobbiness or arrogance in anything you do. I'm hoping that they will mature enough to understand that you're gifting us.
And if they don't like the gift, I don't have to look it in the mouth. I make comments about whether it's missing a tooth. Or not. By the way, I have a steel string, supreme pedal and I do enjoy it very much. It's quite different than the other overdrives. I wouldn't say it's my main over drive, but it is a very nice option. I'm actually keeping it away from the game stage and at the beginning of my effects loop. With all of my time modulation..

You guys think this amp is way overpriced but you'll still blow $2000 on a guitar that has the same specs as a $300 guitar that doesn't have the big brand name attached to it.

Same market in high end home stereos. There are some really great sounding amps, speakers, ect. But, the price often has little to do with it.
