Elden Ring PC crash fix (Updated) | How to fix crashing update

Wish I could say there is one easy Elden Ring Crash fix, but that has proven to not be the case. Elden ring crashing can be annoying I know and I hope that this video will find you and help with any of the latest crashes such as white screen, crashing on startup, crashing while loading, crash errors, etc... the list goes on. But we are here to help!.

My wife did the last video on this and it covered the most basic one, as I was unable to speak she got her chance to do her first voice over and I am so happy and proud of her. As I keep getting reports of Elden Ring keep crashing and freezing on PC, I will try my best to find solutions.

The fix that worked for me: (Can't tell if this other stuff did a thing.)
1. Click on Steam in the left hand upper corner.
2. Downloads. (8th down from top.)
3. Clear download cache. (Right there in the middle)
Message comes up saying that you need to login to Steam again. Not to worry, A window opens and all you have to do is click on the name you are playing under.
(This is computer maintenance 101.)

If you guys have the white screen crash for elden ring try deleting rivatuner look up a video on how to uninstall it and delete it. It helped me out and my game works now.

Great video! I always forget about these steps when games crash like Elden Ring has been for people. For me, and it only happens on Elden Ring: playing fine (albeit the FPS issues with game assets loading in, etc.) and then suddenly, black screen, computer locks up. So pretty sure it's a combo with GPU driver and the game itself.

Verifying game installation, nvidia (gpu) update available, all over lays off (Discord / steam / xbox (microsoft)) fixed this problem for me.

I played 400+ hours without this issue, didn't play for months because of it. I am now 2 hours into the same launch since this problem occured.

Mine is crashing on a certain boss only. Before the cut away of her next phase it crashes, other than that the game runs normally.

Thanks for the video but unfortunately I still crash all the time. I have an nvidia 2700 gpu and i9-9900 processor. No reason that my game should be crashing as this is fairly highend. Very frustrating port.

I seem to crash in this one area where there is a lot of rain and is a good spart for farming, there's a vid out there on where this is. Everywhere else seems to be more stable.

This was definitely a good video 👍I don't really have the patience or knowledge of going into different settings and doing all that extra stuff. It's to much. FromSoftWare should have just made it run correct from the beginning. I'm just going to buy it for PS5 . Like I should have in the beginning. I don't think PS5 is having this issue
