Bassist John Taylor proves that you don't have to cram a hundred notes into a bass line to be heard and effective. As a fellow bassist, I love the way his lines are very succinct with just the right notes and beats, always contributing to the overall sound of the band. (Same with guitarist David Gilmour, Sir Paul, Miles, The Edge, and other great musicians in various genres.)
