How to Loop/Repeat Animations in Davinci Resolve

In this Davinci Resolve Tutorial for beginner, you'll learn how to create a loop animation

I'll show you in this video two functionalities, Ping Pong and Set Loop. They allow you to automatically put your animation on repeat by recreating the keyframes you've made and looping it.

So many tutorials show how to do something, but they never explain why. Another very good video. QUESTION: How would you add a keyframe at a certain point before the end along the ping pong or loop or does the ping pong/loop have to run to the end of the clip?
