I always have made a point of ignoring the clickbait on the internet that says "make your wood longer and thicker" but I'm glad I clicked on this one

Dang James, that rotated angled piece-trick for end grain is genius!!

I don't run into this problem any more, not since I got a couple of those new rubber tape measures.

Very useful techniques, especially when trying to use up "scrap" wood.

Unbelievable, while the stretcher was a very worthy watch, the Thickener knocked it out of the park! Wow! However Stumpy Nubs is known for Home Runs! I'm always impressed! Thank you for sharing !!

This is absolute genius! Thickening a board end looked great I can't believe I've never seen this done before and I bet I missed it in other people's work it's so good.

Thanks James! This is awesome advice and, as always, it’s presented with crystal clear step by step easily reproducible video instruction. I tend to get frustrated when my stock is just barely under for the project, and that frustration leads to panicky searches for a suitable replacement. With this knowledge, I will be able to keep my head and seek a solution with a clear head and measured actions. Priceless.
As always Stump, Thanks!

I love that board stretcher. When I was in retail we sent newbies to the back to get the shelf stretchers. Lol

The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

This is like that Hershey's chocolate bar illusion where you cut a diagonal line through the bar, take a piece out and then re-arrange it to make it look like you never took a piece out in the first place.

These tricks are so smart! I have found it surprising how many woodworking skills are in many ways similar to sewing skills. That scarf joint is very similar to the process of creating bias tape.

I heard about the board stretching a few years ago but never tried it and never seen it before. Very interesting to see it work. 👍

This is the only channel I would trust to click a link with that title 🤣👏
