I would say it's 50/50 because the design on the DeLorean is kind of disappointing while the Ecto 1 design is better, but there is a problem in the Ecto 1: there can be 3 minifigures having a seat but, what about the other? I think there should be space for the proton packs. In the DeLorean you should be able to fit 2 minifigures confortably.

I think you're missing two times two yellow pieces on the right side (from the front) of the roof of the Ecto-1; yours go black-yellow-black *2, but the one I have goes *2. Just a heads-up ;)

Brick queen I like both of them but one thing to remember about these sets are that some things are hard to do or make work as seen with both sets and the time they came out also is a key factor like a lego police station from now and one from the 90s are based on there time they came out but both sets are great and it is awsome that we get them.

I built the BTTF 2 DeLorean, and used the extra parts to make a display stand for Marty and Doc, and used the second license plate in it.

I feel like the Back to the Future set is better. I mean, it has it's flaws but it's appealing to two demographics: the casual buyer and the collector. I consider myself in between those categories so that makes this set perfect for me. The ghostbusters set is very detailed and collector-oriented but the price point is too high for a vehicle that hardly functions as one, in my opinion. Loved the vid and hope to see more comparison vids like this! Great job!

I love both movies... But when it comes to the Lego models, the Ecto-1 looks to be the better one, without any doubt.

The Ecto1 is definitely a better build but growing up to both of these movies holds a place in my heart therefore I'm getting both. I just finished ordering them. It would be nice to see more classic sets like these.

I think the delorean was harder to design as it had the angled windscreen whereas the ecto-1 has a more simple shape like a lego city car

Love both films and cars but when you compare these two sets the Ecto-1 is far superior.

It's so much more detailed and closer to looking like the film car. When put side by side the DeLorean looks terrible. It's a lot flimsier than the Ecto as well, the doors and piping are the worst bits.

I had to buy the DeLorean set as I love Lego and BTTF. It is a fun build regardless of the outcome.

I'm hoping there are more tv and film sets on the way like the A-Team van and KITT :)

The on, y things missing that I'd like in a ghostbusters set would be slimer, a pke meter(I use a jackhammer piece for this), and possible some proton streams. I still love both of these sets though. Also with the bttf set I would've liked a hoverboard for marty and the lenticular hat, or some cowboy gear. Just some pieces so that marty could dress like the movies

Mistake on the ecto-1 the side with the yellow and black pieces it should be black and yellow on both sides. (Not left and right just the right side)

I can barely choose! I love both movies and both of the sets! I own the Delorean and am extremely protective but it constantly loses a door or the roof falls off. So I am 49% and 51% leaning to Ghostbusters.
