DWYM: Spotting bed bugs

i think every hotel should inspect for bed bugs every time its empty, also they should leave a room empty for 1 night in between guests with a bed bug lure, oh wait they should have to have lures active all The time, yea its expensive but it should be the responsibility of the hotel to keep their guests from being bit in there sleep, and then taking them home, because lets face it, how many ppl know the dangers of them until its too late,

I disagree with putting luggage on the luggage rack. I would put it in the bathtub. Like take your luggage in and put it in the bathtub, and then go inspect.

and they should keep climb up intercepters on every bed, also if someone brings bed bugs they should have to pay for the damages, because lets face it, if you have them you have a responsibility to know how not to spread them

Yup happened to us at an RCI gold crown resort. What a nightmare it was.

Yeah well just so you know, you have to get home from your destination of where you had the bed bugs originally so even on your sneakers and in your suitcases, if you have your own car, you're risking putting that stuff into your car and getting them that way and then getting home and walking in your house. I recommend taking all your luggage and putting it in a black bag in your own car and then when you get home, don't even go into your house until you strip down and then alcohol everything after the fact and take care of them that way. It's just something you got to do if you don't ever want to deal with that nightmare
