The extension of the Black Sea grain deal is a relief to many people in parts of the world suffering from severe food shortages. Four years of drought have left millions of people on the Horn of Africa on the brink of famine, heavily dependent on humanitarian aid.

Africa should had its own food. Wheat is Water intrinsic staple. There are so many crops that are drought resitant..
I dont know what Africans are doing with huge land mass but they import from Tiny landmass Ukriane?😅😅 pity!

Europe keeps talking about starving in Africa, but when the grain deal was full on, they mostly imported grain for themselves!

Regular Ukraine shipments help keep prices down, which is good for Africans but also everyone who needs food. At the same time higher prices cause more to be grown in Africa, which is good longer term. We’d rather Africa not be heavily dependent on outside food. They don’t need to be. Donated grain also makes it harder for African farmers but saves the lives of many.

Grain deal is basically Turkish navy evacuating grain from Ukraine under russian blockade. Turkey is using its influence in balck sea. Russia can't say no. This won't end injustice in Ukraine but have to extract what you can in bad situation
