Is it just me? Why do these videos of new *electric* vehicles have to have a rock music soundtrack rather than the ambient sounds?

Amazing to see how far this aircraft has come, great work!

John Langford flew model rockets as a kid and his son now runs Estes Industries. A great STEM activity for kids and the rest of us.

As a professional pilot constantly in search of the next latest and greatest personal aircraft, Im very excited about the two seat demonstrator aircraft but somewhat bummed that Im fairly certain the focus will soon be on the 9 seat commercial version. General Aviation needs a 4 to 6 seat version of this badly, IMO.

Really wish i could hear how loud it's not over that loud music.

I enjoyed the Video………without the music…….please.

I'm curious: on landing approach, with all the thrust from the motors providing lift by "blowing" the wing, how do you manage to have a steep, slow approach?

I love your video and the music is the icing on the cake. This is so exciting. I've been keeping track of the other Evtol's but this Estol is something! If I could afford it I'd buy one. Congrat's on a winning concept.

When you guys land on the numbers, you land on the literal numbers ;) Well done Electra Team!

I'm curious about the purpose of that large vent or exhaust poking out of the left side of the nose. Is tat to counteract P-forces? Why not just alternate prop rotations on every other motor?

Very cool plane but don't need the ear
shattering (what you call) music

Exciting concept. I’m curious about one aspect of blown lift, though. If the wing relies on prop wash to reduce the stall speed to achieve short take off runs, how are safe short landings achieved without power?

Please delete the bad music. I want to hear the good airplane!

Pretty cool. How will it do with balloon tires and bad ground surfaces? Snow? how does it do above 6500 ft. Is the AGL, or above sea level. What is the battery life?

This makes such utter sense, well done.

The music is so you won’t hear that it’s actually got a turbine and is powered by dinosaur juice just like most aircraft. It’s a “hybrid” aircraft. Hybrid cars are only more efficient in stop and go traffic and are actually worse on the highway. An aircraft’s flight profile is closer to highway driving, so I fail to see how this will be better for the environment.
