I have a Credit One card from when I was at the bottom of the barrel. Now I just let it sit in a drawer and use it every once in awhile. They keep increasing my limit which is nice.

Credit One hit the jackpot when Capital One came out with a logo that was so similar in appearance to theirs. Suddenly folks were signing up for that subprime lender thinking it was Captial One, and getting hit with nefarious fees.

Capital One actually copied their logo.

Credit One isn't inherently a bad credit card, especially if you are building credit. The issue is, they target lower Credit Scores, which is usually people who already don't know how to manage their finances.

Every credit card company is predatory in some way. At the end of the day, it is you that is in charge of their finances. Something I wish Caleb Hammer would clarify rather than shitting on the company.
